Wonderful ending, Miss Figg. But I can't help wonder that you have over 80 readers and only 2 reviews for the final chapter. It's like people don't care about your efforts. It's no wonder you stopped writing for a while. You're definitely underappreciated.
Hi Pissed Reviewer: I got your comment via email and hightailed it over here. I appreciate your support, but you know although it would be nice to get reviews from every reader, it doesn't happen. I don't take it to heart because I'm not a great reviewer myself. I don't read many stories and among fanfic writers it's often give and take. It's a matter of rentention for me, as well as obsession. I write far more than I read, preferring to lose myself in my own head. It keeps me going. And I don't remember much of the stories I read, a short term memory dysfunction. So it's hard. As long as the story is being read, I know there are folks out there that are enjoying it, even if they don't say so. It's all good, especially since writing for me is rather a selfish indulgence anyway. ****
Okay, I have to say this. the first thing I thought of when I read the yeeee-haw's, was Alan Rickman/Bruce Willis line from Die Hard. "Yipee-ky-yea, mother*$&#er." Okay, now that I got that off my cheast, WOW! what an ending! You so totally rock! Love ya, and as usual, thanks for the entertainment. May your lemon trees always bear fruit.

Hey Pissed Reviewer- I'd bet that a fair few of Ruth's readers took it to heart when she said she was done writing SS/HG and a month went by with no more stories. They probably haven't been back to see that she's come back to us and has been updating! Lots of us, however, tried her new characters and were able to discover that she'd started up again. (Thank Goodness!!) I don't think she ever had a problem with a lack of reviews- from the very beginning she always had loads. :) Loved this ending, Ruth! Looking forward to more of whatever's next on your list. LK PS- Ruth, you are still continuing to write your original characters with the intention of trying to publish, right?? You should.....

Yes, I'm still intending to finish the novel, but I am going to take my time with the last half. I wrote over 86,000 words in a month and am moving into the meat of the story. I need to go over Sahara and see about publishing that one as well. I may change the title to "I Married a Shapeshifter" lol. Just kidding, but I need a snappy title. Am open to suggestions. How about "I Slept with a Shapeshifter" or "A Shapeshifter in Alabama" lolol
*Fans herself* that was a hot ending!!! I am glad that you are back writing HG/SS stories, even though I haven't had time to read really anything yet. Things are starting to get a little better here. My son is getting use to sleeping in a bed so I am getting a little "me" time back in my life. I am going to get to all of your stories (especially your new originals) stories very soon!
