Ha! I love it, not only was the book written by a clever little witch, but Hermione now owns an illegal tomb. Naughty little witches abound! And if Cecila got five, poor Severus doesn't have a prayer. Can't wait for the next chapter, thanks ms_figg. p.s I was thinking of the Simon and Garfunkel song too.

Ohh, a new chappie! And things are progressing quite nicely too! Harry spends an unhealthy amount of time thinking about Snapes love life, that is even more creepy than he thinks Snape/Hermione would be. Can't wait for more, please tell me that lemons are ahead, perhaps dreamy ones??

ch 35 - ahh, Neville.... he means well, but he needs to listen to Luna and Hermione. as for Harry, he needs to be friends with Hermione if he wants adventure. I think Tom Riddle started creating HOrcruxes when he was a young man, didn't he? so there might be some of those hanging around this timeline. but I'm very happy to have Harry be a minor character here - I'm enjoying more of Luna and Neville and even Hercules! thanks for posting a new chapter.

Poor Nev, he has a hard time understanding girls. Luna is a hoot, I just love her! I can't wait for more. (Thank you lizzy, for pointing out my spelling error. You are absolutly right, she isn't reading a dead mans grave. The downside of posting a review in the middle of the night after a really long day, observation skills are a little lacking.)

I didn't really think it was going to be that easy. I imagine it's hard on Severus too. He must be feeling a little insecure about his future with Hermione. Good Drama. I'm anxious to see how that plays out. Curious, will your Lily ever realize the pain she caused by shunning her BF after a single mistake? Or is she too self-absorbed in this story too? I have to admit, in the series I felt she got away with being a real chit. No matter, thanks for the chapter!! :D
You said it sister! I was suppose to marry Russel Crowe. Oh well. Loved the chapter, but I fear that Hermione may take all this the wrong way. Or worse, do the wrong things. Poor girl.
I love that you didn't let Hermione get her way... besides the fact that it means MORE chapters. YAY! It also means more plot twist. I effing love your work. I wonder what will happen next? Will Hermione rationalize and understand Severus' point-of-view or will she act out of anger? ICK! Can't wait for more.
Awww, poor Hermione. Hope she understands the situation better when she calms down. After all, it's not like he said never. And it's not forever until the end of the school year, even though it probably feels that way to her.

ch 37 - wow! I've never seen any story in which Myrtle got her diploma, or an award, or the chance to stop being a ghost. This is WONDERFUL! and I was very impressed by how Neville talked sense to Hermione. marvelous chapter, Ruth!!

ch 38-39 - ooh, her quarters sound very nice and spacious, maybe even nicer than his. I grinned at the way Severus revealed the basilisk head to the Grangers - very showmanlike! Harry's father was much better behaved here, so things do look more positive for that family. thanks for updating, Ruth!

I love Luna!shes like the anti Hermione,but in some ways there so much alike.I still have a hard time with Harry talking so bad about Hagird though.

I am so enjoying this story, being a fairly fluffy bunny myself (but I do like your darker stories and must be a bit of a masochist myself since I *like* your "ravishing" Severus as well!(drools a bit)). I'm so glad they got to go to the ball together. And you write it so well (oft-times balls end up being too "Ginny Goes To the Prom" in HP fan fic, if you know what I mean -- all girlish silliness. Nothing wrong with girlish silliness, just not my preferred read). And waltzing togther -- so romantic.
ch 40 - ahh, lovely! thanks for being a honeybun and giving them all a nice time. I hope James Potter doesn't wreck things. looking forward to seeing Hermione get presented at the fancy apprentice event!

These last chapters have been absolutely lovely. ROFL at Neville, though, to have his sweet dream of love destroyed by spotting Severus and Hermione kissing! I'm very much liking the slow buildup on this one.
That Lily Potter sure is a character. She wants what she can't have but cares too much about appearances. Ick! I would have hated her in school. And that show-off she married too. I love Lucius! YUM! And what a flirt. haha. At least he didn't go all Pureblood/Mudblood during the dance. Can't wait for more.
ch 42 - I really like the parents you've written for Hermione. they're good and decent people, and I think this "double-date" at the dance was a great way for them to see S&H together. thanks for the new chapter!
