Wonderful story developments. I'm just wondering how people read this and don't leave at least a simple supportive comment. I know you say you dont mind Miss Figg, but it still sucks. People are getting the benefit of your talent and giving back NOTHING!

Me Again: I have to disagree. A few people have shown their support in concrete ways, donating for my original stories, video and artwork. And the number of visits to each chapter show they are out there. I was really tempted to delete your comments, since I've addressed this before with you, but I didn't, because I don't believe in deletion. Not everyone feels comfortable enough to leave a comment, feeling they don't have anything important to say, which isn't the case. Just an "I like it" will do, but I understand the hesitance. Again, I ask you not to try to be a champion for me. I really don't need a champion. I write because I love to write. Although I appreciate comments, they aren't necessary. People are still reading, and I figure, still enjoying. That works for me.

ch 19 - I love your Luna and Neville! very clever of her to find hidden passages that way. you've clearly spent a lot of time working out their movements, and I wonder if Severus will double-back to find them. looking forward to the rooster's tricks. thanks for updating!

ch 20 - aha, so clever of Luna! seven masks - but none of them big enough for Hagrid. well, Hercules will take care of the basilisk soon enough. I like what you've done with Myrtle, too - making her useful instead of just forever 'moaning.' thanks for the new chapter!!

ch 21 - woohoo!!!! I've never seen anyone kill Fawkes in a story, so that was a real shock. I can see the kids freezing in inaction, as these kids didn't have years of experience with adventures, but dying Snape was excellent motivation for Hermione to move. great chapter! thanks for updating, Ruth.

ch 22 - fabulous chapter!! the punishments were perfect, draco-harry's conversation was funny (even in this timeline, slytherin still loses the cup for the same reason!), and best of all, hermione disses won-won but good. thank you!!

HAhHAHhHAh :D Poor Ron??? he totally deserved it! I loved the last chapters, they were amazing... when Severus told Hermione she needed practise with her:"mouth to mouth" I was hoping he'll give her just that, but it's clear this time you won't rush things... not to mention that "angry Snape" always means screaming Hermione in your other stories, but then again... it's too early :) btw, when Neville and Hermione tried to cover up for Luna they reminded me of Harry and Ron with the troll in their second year... the trio was formed then, I wonder if we'll have another trio in this story :) loved it, really, thanks for the chapters!

I know Snape & Hermione are the main focus here but all your other players are fantastic as well! And i laughed out loud at how Fawkes kicked the bucket! Too funny! Love your work!

Another excellent Alternate Universe! I like your somewhat kinder, gentler Snape and am glad you turned Dumbles back into a good guy. He's such an ass in canon. And Hermione! She's still adventurous even though she's not part of the "Golden Trio" in this Universe.

ch 23 - that's WONDERFUL, to finally give Myrtle a nice bathroom and a plaque. all these years she's had this miserable place to hang out in. thanks, Ruth! now for this mini-cliffhanger... is he going to use her for a potions test or something?? please, no Hermione-Ron kissing in this story!
