yay another story... totally loved the ending. and was a bit grossed out about the description of young snape. lol. but i dont remember reading snape to have acnes when he was small in the JKR. he was just too greasy to be true. ah well, this snape is just too hormonal i guess. totally enjoyed this one.
chatty: lol. Well, greasy skin does cause acne. So does stress, worry and aggravation, which I imagine he had plenty of with James and Sirius around. I just added some extra touches. Lol, yeah I thought the end would be fitting since everything changed pretty much after Tom Riddle died. Severus still owed James...sooooo ;)
Dare I hope that SS and HG end up together once HG grows up???
what happened to the hermione who went back after convincing snape? did she um... continue on with the big snape?
really interesting idea, can't comment on originality since i haven't read any time turner fics either but for what its worth, i enjoyed the plot!
I enjoyed that and, as usual, would like more please. :) One little problem though...Snape destroys the pensieve and then Hermione suggests that he take the pensieve and show it to Dumbledore.... I also am curious as to what became of young Hermione and how their night of pleasure went. She was a virgin....was he good to her?
I love it,but do you think ity really needs to be a one shot? Theres never enough Severus and Hermione and I love that one, it's more orgional than alot of the other time turner stories i've read.I can really see this happening. Please more!
Wonderful! Simply wonderful!!! But, I'm still pouting about the lemons being left out!!! Hugs, Killer K
Laura: Thanks for pointing out the error in continuity...it slipped right by me. I fixed it. Good looking out girl *** And yes, he was good, if thorough.
You're most welcome. :) You don't have many errors that need pointing out! However...I would looove to read just how thorough he was with her...;) You know we're going to be begging when you leave out the lemony goodness! LK
Laura: I'm working on it now. Of course you know this is cutting into "Emmet" and "Song" time. Not that anybody feels guilty about that other than me. But the good part is, anyone reading Emmet's story is most likely an HG/SS fan, so won't mind the little detour. I need a little break with something not so complicated I think. So there will be lemons in a bit. What I don't do for you guys. Love's like that. ***
I loved the added lemons but does SS really mean that his future self doesn't see HG as anything but a student? I was reallu hoping that they would end up together in the future. The story is great and really clever but, I was kind of hoping for a SS/HG ending. Is there hope Please??? I mean even if you don't write it, do you see them together (please Gods LOL).
Portia: Since Hermione told him that she was attracted to his future self, Severus is bound to remember that. Actually, he told her he would remember it. Since in an alternate timeline, he's been intimate with Hermione already, he may well be tempted to wait until she grows up. More than likely Hermione will receive far better treatment from him in this timeline than the original because he does intend to possess her when she becomes an adult. How's that?
does this really have to be a one shot?
Please this story has to be more than a one-shot!
All right! I was thinking about this story off and on today and hoping you'd continue it for a bit. He remembered his 1 night with her, it stands to reason that once he knew for sure that she was real and had really used the time turner to fix her time and his future....he'd want to explore other possibilities with her. Surely he's had fantasies of being with her again...Now, I'm sure he'll wait until she reaches the age of consent but until then, it's going to be interesting to see the very different interactions in this changed timeline. Severus knows...does Albus? Did Severus ever tell him what was averted? Harry a Slytherin?? What about Ron? These time-turner stories are like watching Star Trek- they make my head hurt! (You know, you just better stop trying to write one-shots! You have too much story in you to keep anything short!) I don't mind skipping back and forth between your stories, either- it's all good. :) LK
Thanks for the lemon- very nice one. I was thinking you were going to continue it, hence the long-ass post above, lol! .....Is it staying with you as much as it is with me?? You really have given a little twist to the time turners I've read...I can't help wanting more... LK
Laura, I've been told this is very different from other time turner stories. But if Voldemort never came into power, then everything would have to change. It would be an entirely new wizarding world with lives completely rearranged. It's more than likely Ron, Harry and Hermione never become good friends...Albus and Minerva are probably married. Sirius is still alive, and Peter Pettigrew never betrayed the Potters. Remus still has his friends. Lucius probably isn't half bad. Mad-Eye Moody is just Moody, because he was never injured by Death Eaters. There is no Order of the Phoenix. Severus is probably still snarky but not as mean as he was in the other timeline because he doesn't live a life of suffering. Hagrid still went to Azkaban for the death of Myrtle though, since Tom Riddle was in school then, but the Chamber of Secrets is still hidden. Man, that could be the crux of the story right there...but this time there's no Harry to kill the basilisk. Yikes! :::shaking head::: The whole concept is mind boggling. It's staying with me, but so are a few other stories, like Dark Lady, The Victor Alternate, and of course Song. You're right. I really shouldn't try to write one-shots.
awesome story, though sadly i'd love to see it go further though it doesn't need to. =) cool work hon
Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Ms Figg!!! You are the bestest ever!!! And you spoil us(your avid readers) way too much!!! And that's one reason we luv ya!!! Hugs, Killer K
I know Ruth, but if not Voldemort, then...who? There always seems to be some evil waiting to step up when there's a void....would any of the characters we already know have gone that route? Or would there have been another who fell to the side when V rose who would have risen in his place? Hmmm, your own idea w/ the Chamber of Secrets is also very interesting. How anyone can dislike AU, non-canon fanfics is beyond me. :) Even if you write no more of this particular story, it's given me a lot to think about, so I thank you. :) Again. LK
First of all, largely thanks to you Snape/Hermione has become equal to my "old"/first HP-ship, Draco/Hermione. Very good story, nice touch the way Harry became a slytherin in the end...would've also loved if Draco had appeared. The story screams for continuance, but if it indeed came to you as a one-shot, who am I to argue. :)
Laura: I can imagine Hermione finding Tom Riddle's diary in a thrift shop or some out of the way place, and taking Ginny's place as the one who fulfills Tom's wishes. Somehow, Severus gets into the picture, discovers the chamber and the unconscious Hermione and is just as desperate to save her as Harry was to save Ginny and Tom asks him what happened...how did he die....then unleashes the basilisk whoo hoo lol well...stop Ruth stop! Laura...stop making me think about this story. My fingers are tired enough.
Hm. Actually it couldn't go down that way. Tom Riddle wouldn't know who Severus was since he didn't meet him until after he had left Hogwarts. All the better really. lol.
Thnax for the response, Ms. Figg. You know one more chapter of the present SS and the HG in a few years in the current time line would be so nice don't you think? Since SS really never had sex with HG since it never happened and all. So the two deserve a shag!LOL LOL Seriously, realy nice time turner story. And OK anther chapter would really, really be nice. LOL
Portia: Severus and Hermione did have sex, and he remembers it. She doesn't because the timeline changed, but his remained as it was. But no...no more chapters. I really have to get to work on Emmet's story. He's standing naked in a bedroom, a beautiful woman walking toward him, and is about to have sex for the first time in his life. Right now, in some alternate universe...he's screaming at me. lol
mmm...yummy one shot figgy
howdy!! what a nice story!! happy new year ruth!
what happened to the hermione who made love with severus and went back to the future? did she talk with dumbledore and tell him that she was successful? the small hermione who comes at the end is the one who is from the timeline of the past severus. and also, using the timeturner, no one forgets it. for instance, hermione and harry knew what happened with sirius and buckbeak. and usually the other people just feel the sudden disappearance of the related object, such as the beheader who came out to find the bird missing... but they dont forget. anywayz, the story was really good. one i really enjoyed. Im just too curious to see what happened to the hermione who went back to the future giving her virginity to youngsev. ;)
Mrs-Figg. How could you do it? You cannot stop there. Iys too cruel. I want, I need more of this. Just a bit more. Plewwwwz. Maybe another chapter. Or two?????? Yeh? you could you know> Couldn't you? Please. with a lemon on top. ccino
reviewer: There was probably a small overlap of time when Hermione returned when she told the Headmaster she thought she was successful, but once Severus killed Tom Riddle, that previous existence was no more. And that Hermione no longer existed and never was. Previously when the time turner was used, it was used to alter small events that did not affect the entire wizarding world. By killing Tom Riddle however, the entire fabric of the wizarding world changed. Severus was never a spy, Harry's family was never killed, there's no Order of the Phoenex and so forth. What we now have is a wizarding world that never had a Voldemort. People are leading different lives now. In effect, it is a new world.
ccino: There is never such a thing as "a chapter or two" with something like this. :) I would have to rewrite the entire JKR universe. lol. I mean, not that I don't do that anyway, but this daunting even to think about. Plus I am working on Emmet's story and Song simultaneously. I can't do any other stories right now. Sorry sweetie. ***
Love all your work. You should really look into continuing the Sahara story. It looks awsome.
This is a response to the above review, but actually, I don't think that's how it would work at all. Hermione would go back to the future, if indeed you have her go back, and she would resume her life as a Seventh Year, while coping with dual memories: of a timeline where she was friends with Harry and Ron, and of a 'new world' timeline. The Time Turner was worked into canon because it allowed the user to go back in time and retain memories of both parallel timelines that the Time Turner granted access to. So Hermione would integrate into the new world upon her return, and would probably develop 'memories' about what her 'new' life had been like, but it's unlikely she'd vanish from existence. Her track record at Hogwarts itself would be different, but Severus Snape's spying has zero bearing on who she is, and on any events making up her pre-Hogwarts life. Furthermore, the Order of the Phoenix had been established before Severus became Voldemort's agent; even if the Order didn't exist when Dumbledore had vanquished Grindelwald, Voldemort started gathering followers and amassing power some twenty-odd years before Severus' birth. Dumbledore may have operated on his own before Voldemort revealed his intentions with regard to the Wizarding world, but it's unlikely that the forming of the OotP was hinged on Severus Snape, when Voldemort himself went into action probably a decade or so before Snape's seventh year. Also, based on the events following Voldemort's alternate demise, he wouldn't have transferred any of his powers or essence into Harry during that attack, and Harry would most likely not have been a candidate for Slytherin. He also would have grown up with a father whose biggest hate was for Slytherins, and would have been even more brainwashed into making the choice "Not Slytherin" than canon Harry was. That's just my own view of those two events.
Wow. Now this was a great plot. Although I wished you would forward a few years more to when Hermione becomes of age and Severus pops her cherry...again, I loved it. Ps. Where is the promised Severus!Veela/Hermione!Mate fic. You said you would write it soon.
Hi Mara, thanks you so much for your view of what changes would or wouldn't occur. All of this is rather theoretical. Yes, Hermione's life pre-Hogwarts would be virtually unchanged. Her term at Hogwarts might be quite different, probably would be as far as Potions went and treatment by Severus. If I had continued the story, probably I would have had her be hit with memories of the original timeline when she turned eighteen and had originally used the timeturner...she would have to go to Severus to find out what the hell was going on. which of course I would have used as a catylst for romance. heh. You are right about the Order completely. It was formed in the seventies with Tom Riddle's first rise to power. So it does still exist in this timeline, though it may not be as active since Tom Riddle's death. Now Harry's sorting into Slytherin in this alternate reality would not have been based on the canon events of Voldemort's transference, but rather something dark in Harry himself, despite being raised by Gryffindors. It could be selfishness, a desire to be very powerful, or some other trait that is more suited for a Slytherin than a Gryffindor. It's feasible, even if he was raised to dislike Slytherin house. I think there is a case of twins being sorted into different houses...the Patil sisters (even though the movie GOF put them both in Gryffindor). Now, perhaps if the Sorting Hat had idled over him, talking to itself as it did in the book, because of his family Harry would have protested. But in this instance I had it happen to Harry just as it did to Draco, with the hat barely on his head before it pronounced Slytherin. I did a little research into Harry's zodiac sign of Leo to see what a negative Leo could be like. And Harry could qualify for Slytherin house based on this list. Now, all you Leos out there, let me tell you first that the father of my children is a Leo, and I love your sign. This list of negative traits does not mean this is you. It's all hypothetically being applied to Harry. Not to say this is him either...but it could be: Their faults can be as large in scale as their virtues, and an excessively negative Leonian can be one of the most unpleasant human beings imaginable, displaying extreme arrogance, autocratic pride, haughtiness, and excessive hastiness of temper. If jealously suspicious of rivals, they will not hesitate to use cunning, lies and trickery to discredit them. Self-centeredness, greed for flattery, boastfulness, and bombast, pomposity, snobbish superiority, and overbearing, and intolerant disdain of underlings; to whom they will nevertheless delegate the carrying out of minor details in their grandiose schemes, and from whom they are not above borrowing immoderately if an occasion necessitates it. http://www.astrology-online.com/leo.htm Ooh. Yeah. Slytherinish for sure.
How do I count the ways I love your devious mind? Do you know how many times I've craved lemons and found that only you could deliver? WOMAN, you are the consummate Slytherin. Oh, I like your stories, how I like your stories.
Wow, analysing "what if" scenarios is a blast! So much can hang on a sole event, with the proper conjecture. The info on Leo's is very interesting; certainly, I think Harry displays some of those traits far more in the books than Neville does (and they were born on the exact same day and year) - haughtiness of temper particularly, but also that subtle arrogance of saying he doesn't want to be famous, and he doesn't want preferential treatment, while at the same time expecting it. Harry actually doesn't want people to comment on how he's "famous Harry Potter," but he does enjoy reaping the benefits, given his reactions when he doesn't get that special little 'extra'. I understood that this alternate scenario was a very Draco setting... But that still doesn't really take into account how different Harry's upbringing would have been (and I'm not being argumentative, I just love discussing these various alternatives). First of all, with James Potter being what he was, I think Harry would have grown up to be quite the Dudley (or, rather, quite the copy of his father). That can be an argument for Slytherin, but some of the biggest bullies we've seen have been Gryffindors (even Harry's a bully in Book 6), so it's a toss-up. He would, however, grow up prejudiced; and I think that would make his choice subconscious - he would be biased against Slytherin before even setting foot in Hogwarts, and the Hat seems to operate on choice, as much as on personality traits. I think at that point, Harry's mind would be closed as far as Slytherin went - so unless he was very rebellious and really wanted to spite his father, his upbringing and bias would override the Leo characteristics that, fed by Harry growing up with the Marauders, might otherwise make him a 'good' candidate for Slytherin. Based on personality alone (and combined with 11 years of Marauder influence), it would probably be quite the Draco setting... Someone I think you skipped at the Sorting was Neville - though he, too, is an interesting possibility to explore. In a world where Voldemort is killed by 17/18 year-old Severus, Bellatrix would have just barely been recruited, Voldemort wouldn't have taken her under his wing, and she may neither have turned out as insane as she did, nor quite as evil. At any rate, there would have been no attacks on the Longbottoms, who would still be sane, still be acclaimed Aurors, and Neville would have been brought up by smart, confident, powerful people. Neville is, I think, too gentle to have been anything but a Gryffindor, but his personality would have been staggeringly different, I wager. I wonder whether he'd have actually feared Snape...
Mara: Yes, it is a blast isn't it? GAH!!! A Dudley. Oh good gods I think I'm going to be sick. lololol. Thanks for that good laugh. If Harry was an only child then yeah, maybe a Dudley, but according to the way I set it up, Harry has at least 5 brothers and sisters. It is doubtful he received a lion's share of the attention. More than likely he received less attention because he was the oldest, and had a lot of responsibility to his/her younger siblings. He didn't have a family of his own before, but just because he does now, doesn't mean he likes it. lol. I mean, he loves them...yes. But sometimes a child can be resentful towards his siblings or parents because of the "attention and responsibility" issue. I used to hate having to take my younger sister with me when we went out to play, and I was pretty mean to her as a result. I wasn't a mean child, but angry at the responsibility, so I could see this happening. I only had one sister. Harry has a lot more siblings. This could be enough to push him Slytherin-wise too. As far as being raised to hate Slytherin, the way I would have written Lily Potter her...I don't think she would want her children being brought up hating Slytherins or Slytherin House, despite James. She'd want them fair and balanced and to form an opinion of someone based on their character rather than their house. This is how I see her in any event. She wouldn't allow James to poison Harry, though I am sure he or more likely Sirius talked about what they used to do to Severus on occasion. If Harry retained any traits from the earlier timeline it is very likely that Harry thought they were bullies then, and disliked what they did. It might have made him even sympathetic to Snape, and think maybe Gryffindors aren't so great. :::shrugs::: Neville would never ever be a Slytherin, and would most likely be more confident and stronger being raised by his parents and not constantly brow-beaten by his overbearing Grandmother. He would most likely be respectful toward Severus, but not afraid. But Neville always had a deeper strength. I like his character, especially in the Goblet of Fire movie. He loved dancing. I thought that was great.
I couldn't get enough of your work if I read a new story of yours every day. Good "spin" on Timeturner storyline, original. I am so glad I found your site. I was reading you on another site you've posted on and I always wanted to read more.
Ok I missed alot with no internet for a few days. You know this story opens up a whole can of worms, there is so much you could do, you have my mind going through all the possibilities *scary thought*...lol. This is a really good story, something different, I don't think I've ever read anything like it before. If you do decide to continue I would enjoy reading where you would take it.
Excellent. Payback is a bitch!
loved it! it actually got me thinking... Hermione actually wasn't able to return, was she? I mean, Severus changed the whole world by killing Tom... so she doesn't remember any of this, any of her 'other life' God, it's like she's dead and this 11 y.o. Hermione is an entirely different person... the Hermione that saved the world by giving her virginity to the greasy git actually lost the chance to see how her life continues! God, I hate when I start thinking :) anyway, great story, nice lemons :) I sometimes wonder how u do it, Ruth :)
Oh I wish you would continue with this story. Although, I have seen stories quite like this, I would love to see where you take it. Your writing is always so different from everyone else. Please, start this up at a later time after you get done with what is on your to do list. PLEASE!
PLEASE turn this in to a multiple-shot. :-) Maybe timetraveling Hermione dissolved once her own future was significantly changed. Or she merged with her younger self once she was born? or both? What happened? it would be interesting to see how the characters might change due different settings. Especially in regard to HGSS. Maybe this Snape is even more selfserving than the other, because of the lack of guilt. Who would HG be friends with? Obviosly Harry and most probably Ron as well are out of the picture. Nevil, Ginny, Dean...or even other housemembers? Will there be another evil, who Snape will be facing? Maybe you can change the past, but not the destiny of fighting against evil? Will Dumbledore enlist the help of one of the most powerfull wizards(SNAPE!)? ... You see! I already started fantasising about this fic. Not good. Please tell us more about hte story of these new HG and SS. P L E A S E

Following the Deadly Dull Hollow book, I am rather turned off by Canon, Rowling and Harry Potter in general. This little tale is just what the witch doctor ordered! Thanks!
I think you should write more about this. I loved it.
I very much liked. I wish you could have went a little further so Hermione and Severus could speak or something. Or let us know that Hermione will still be attracted to him, etc
Love it! Love the Voldie free world! Love Snape killing him! Perfect! As it should be! Great timeline and great story!! Woo hoo!!!
