Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while *hides in shame*, but RL (aka my son) has been keeping me very busy. I really like how this story is progressing, I am a little fearful of what's going to happen when Anita's father shows up. At least the apartment is in Emmet's name so it will take a little to track her down there.
Yes, really easy to hate him. Though I like how he made her have a shower first. At least his mind still works. I am still fanning myself after the scene where Emmet walks in on Anita. Pure... Fig.

Yea I had a feeling that was going to happen to John. With that much cash on him, and the place he was staying, I had a feeling he wasn't going to leave that place alive. Now that Anita isn't going to leave I wonder if she is going to give into her feelings about Emmet. I guess we shall see. Can't wait for next chapter full of lemony goodness :)

Offing John bowen was poetic justice cause we all know he would never have given up. Rather like how you've brought this all together. looking forward to the epilogue and stop by and say hi and yahoo sometime =)
Well, I guess there goes the problem with John Bowen...yikes! Didn't see that one coming...and he died the same way as my father...stabbed but my dad was protecting his friend's wife. Okay, now on to the next chapter...

Ruth- you are just too good to us! That was good, seeing what went on before John was killed. He well and truly deserved what he got, nasty as that sounds. Your characterization was so well done- I really hated him. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Anita obviously took after her Mother. I know it's thisclose to being done but I'm looking forward to the end....curious to see what happens with Emmet's Mom, too, lol! LK

I know I haven't reviewed in awhile. Sorry. My computer decided to revolt, but, alas! the peace talks worked and the revolution is over! Whoot! I love what you did with this story. I'm kinda sad about John. Not much, mind you, as he was a complete ass, but nobody deserves to have no one attend their funeral. Guess this means I'm gonna have to gather some money up, eh? :>
That was such a great story. I'm so glad that everything worked out in the end for everyone. The wedding was so cute. I cracked up at Herman having twins..that was really good. I really think you try to have this story published.
Awww. It's all finished. Just the right way for that pig of a father to end up, too. I thought it was kind of.... sad; or gentle or kind of Maria to attend the funeral. Showed another side to her. Easy to forget she's still human under all that hard crack ho' exterior. (Something inside me wants to know Maria's story. If I was as good a writer as you are I'd write it.) Loved the epilogue. A happy ending all round. Twins eh? LOL! Saving now for the next story. Thank you so much.
