Synopsis: A young female shapeshifter named Sahara is fleeing marriage to an undesirable mate, attempts suicide by passing through a veil that is believed by her people to lead to the Darkworld, or the Place of Death.  Instead, Sahara is transported to the Southeastern US.  Pursued by her cruel (and sexy) would-be husband, she is thrown into a world she doesn't understand, and has to trust one very confused (and handsome) young veterinarian to help her. Unfamiliar with the culture, language or anything remotely modern, but armed with an amazing gift, can Sahara escape her fate and survive?  Hm.  We'll see.
