Great start! I can totally see canon Snape doing that to presents. Can't wait to see what happens next, and waiting patiently for updates to Twice Bitten and In An Alternate Universe.

I love the cannon pictures of Sevuras as much as the way most of us make him out to be infact cannon is how I all ways try to picture him.Can't wait for more of the story!

I love how he needed to think about the word for tree, knowing he's never had one to decorate or place presents under. Sarcastic and snarky just the same. The thought of Snape prancing about exuberantly like a first year nearly caused me to double over in my chair! Can't imagine he's the festive sort. Beautifully written as always and absolutely hysterical. I can’t wait to see how this one turns out.

Tess- I loved reading your response. That was hilarious. Battering ram. Snicker. I adored the idea of them going of on grand adventures. I can see Ron wanting to tag along as a chaperone even after Hermione dumps him. Cause face it, she's soooo gonna dump him. We wouldn't be reading it on this site if she weren't. Unless of course Ron decides to go all jealous and cavemanish on her. There's only ever enough room for one caveman in Ruth's stories. And he comes equiped with his own club. Let's have him beat Mione over the head with it and drag her off to a nice secluded cave somewhere. Sorry. Getting carried away I guess. You know this could almost be the prequel for ‘A Long Way Back’ Weren’t they originally together In that one before Hermione was forced to kill Harry, leaving Snape to travel alone? And the land of Mu, shades of ‘The Rind’ there. Now I’ve just read you’re A/N and this is obsolete. Still, I want to see them travel, Hermione should never have married Ron in JK’s sequel. After that drawing you put up, Snape in a temper sounds really scary, hope he’s not gonna lose it again, they need to shag so he can get rid of some tension. And Soon. Oh Figgy...well *I* certainly took the bait! I'm ready to go!!!!!! Pah-leeeeeeeze let us go on an adventure with these two! I am so enjoying this canon-esque Snape and Hermione -- difficult and mysterious meets guileless and brave. Yes, I'm always impatient for the lemons to roll, but the potential for a long, twisty tale is even more alluring. OF course, there is no reason why these two couldn't shag their way around the world as they search for lost lands and arcane potions. I looooove it!!! Thank you so much!!
i like this so far. i am a fan of your other works, and noticed quickly the similarities. but, should the story not parallel "Long Way..." it should work out nicely. Am waiting for an update.
All right. I'm currently considering making this a series. There have to be the Christmas lemons and so forth, but there is a lot of potential for adventure, and the idea of writing a canon compiliant Snape and Hermione really intrigues me. I can see that many readers want this to be a longer story than I intended, proving to me I am no better at writing quick PWP's than I am at one-shots. I always seem to leave more desired. I really think my only successful one-shot is the recent "Tonks and Kingsley Revisited." I think because it was not our fav couple I was able to bring it to a good close. Probably because I myself always want "more" with them, deep down inside and they aren't people that can be adequately covered with the short piece. At least, not when I'm writing. But in the interest of one day being able to write an actual "complete" one-shot, I'm asking for links to successful one-shot stories by other writers (preferably steamy ones) to read, enjoy and study. So if you know of any, please share them. Thanks. ***

Well I'm hooked!!! Update update update!!!! As you can tell I am a little hyper. I've been trying to finish my Xmas story but I was blocked, now I just don't have time to work on it. I need to catch up on you other stories I am still behind on AU. I can't believe Christmas is only a week away!!!
Hermione has to say yes!! Just think how it would be to get to travel the world with a man like Severus Snape.I just want to let you know how much your fan fics mean to me,yours are about the only ones that i've read that actually fell like there wrote for adults.Can't wait for more updates.
