Oh Miss Figg. No rest for the wicked, I see. Well, what an intriguing start for this new story of yours. I can't wait to see just how Hermione gets wrestled (hopefully literally) into this one. I can't believe how quickly your mind manages to come up with new story lines. If mine produced that many, I'd never get any of them completed. I'd be too busy trying to get them straight in my head, and thy'd all end up half done. ~Mia P.S. Is the story with Hermione and Severus' places switched just about done? Or is it going to be another gloriously long one?
Mia: There are a bunch of fantasy HG/SS worlds in my mind I think and once they emerge they stay pretty sorted out, but all want out. lol. An Alternate Universe won't be all that long. It was meant to be a pwp like "When Good Wizards Go Bad" This story might not be too long either. ANB fried me. I think I'm going for short and sweet this time. When I get to work on the one-shots I have out already they will probably be long stories. Especially "A Turn for the Better"
Very interesting plot. I'm curious on where you will take it. I see lots of possibilities.

Ah, dear Ms_Figg. Though you are a grown woman, your writing has matured so much since you started writing the Harry Potter fanfictions, what, a little more than a year ago? Every time I read one of your stories, I'm struck by your beautiful wording and your obvious intellect; I'm particularly impressed by your correct usage of biological terms and knowledge of history [a la Babylon and Mesopotamia and their culture]. And I'm sure many [including my brother, whom I showed your website to], would agree that your steamy sex scenes are truly unique.. no one does it quite like you. =] Furthermore, I continue to be impressed by your absolute humility despite the fact that you're easily the most popular Harry Potter smut writer on AdultFanfiction. I'm SO tired of seeing writers and artists [a GREAT example is NAME HIDDEN simply delete and/or ignore unwanted comments [consisting of constructive criticism] because of their pride and ego and unwillingness to admit that they DO have room for improvement. You're never rude, and ALWAYS charming and level-headed, even if someone is flaming the shit out of you. You're truly an inspiring writer and human being, and I look up to you as the person who first turned me on to Hermione and Severus as a couple in the first place. Way to go, girl. Hi Charmy/Fuffuster: Thank you for your kind comments. *** But on another note, Boa Constrictors aren't ... er . . . poisonous. Neither are pythons. Though large, neither species could have killed Snape with a bite. The King Cobra can get a bit over 18 feet long and is the largest poisonous snake in the world. And Nagini is the name for a female cobra in Hindi and several other languages. So, if it looks like a cobra, sounds like a cobra and bites like a cobra . . . I guess it's a cobra. lol. *** PS: Sorry about taking out the name of the writer you referred to in the above post, but :::shrug::: I thought it would be best to let folks form their own opinions of the way the writer/artist chooses to operate. <3 ---
Albus being gay...yeah, I've heard about that from several sources. I guess I channeled that to his namesake Albus, Harry's son, when I put him at the "Dateless" table in ANB. I'm not really sure how I feel about that though. I would have appreciated it more if it were even hinted at in the books someplace. But then again, Harry Potter was meant to be a children's series and sexual orientation didn't really matter much in the scheme of things.
Charmy: Actually, I have to correct myself. A snakebite by itself from such a large snake could do enough damage to kill someone if bitten in the jugular. But just the name of the snake makes it quite possible that Nagini is a cobra like her namesake implies. Constrictors kill by constricting and suffocating their victims. So do pythons, though they bite to hold them before looping the coils around. Nagini did nothing but bite Snape. So I stand by Cobra. :)
Arrrgh. About Nagini again. She has venom, because it's used in Voldie's elixir. That xxx the constrictor/python idea, unless JKR created her as a fictional species, which is possible. Whew. I can stop thinking about this now. lol. I couldn't find anything about her species on the HP Lexicon either.

OH! A wonderful and promising start.I truly admire your ability to keep Severus in character, while expanding on your own ideahs of who he really is within.
I confess that I had (and still have to a certain degree) doubts about Snape, the vampire, but I do love all your other stories so I decided to give it a go and so far I'm liking what you did with the idea (specially because of the approach vampire-but-wanting-to-be-mortal-again). I thought that we'd see a return of the Queen that bit Adam but this "mother" vampire sounds an interesting character too. Wouldn't mind seeing Adam tough, I really like his character.
Another terrific idea, so well-written and researched. I'm hoping there'll be no Ron/Hermione marriage since this is AU....and since I love vampires, I hope this isn't actually too short. With a beginning like this it might just need many, many chapters. :) I can hope...>LK
Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events...I'm soo going to follow this story! Oh, and if you're ever interested in reading a vampire novel, then you should take a look at Stephenie Meyer's books - 'Twilight', 'New Moon', and 'Eclipse'. They're pretty good. Oh, and another thing! Dumbledore! I didn't really think about him being gay because he fit so well with Minerva...but now I can really see it! It's pretty kewl that JKR outed him though, it makes him just that little bit more human. and also opens up the possibilities for a lovers quarrel between Dumbledore and Voldemort, hehe.
lol that was a funny chapter. never thought he was going to have harry turned! u're so full of surprises woman! anywayz... now whats going to happen? oh and when ron said 'snape was too snarky to die..."lol that was damn funny. how i wish tho! btw, i think hermione is going to be mad at snape for turning harry. well. whtever.cant wait for the next chapters.
Snape, you really are a plonker. You're not as intelligent as you think, (me thinks). You should have thought more before you bit Harry. And after seven years teaching hermione you should know she'd help without hesitation and with no reward. Now Harry's gone bezerk and you have to find him. ccino
Chap.3- Harry as a vampire! Didn't see that one coming! wonder what his reaction will be once he gains conscience of what Snape did. And I can almost imagine Hermione scolding Snape at same later point about the way he went to get her help. Lol
Yeah, see, that was the thing that confused me. Rowling did the whole 'elixir' thing, but there are also a couple of parts in the book where Negini simply squeezes her prey to death. But the origin of the name Nagini probably means that she's a cobra, even though there is NO type of cobra as thick around the middle as a man's neck.. I dunno, maybe Rowling has her snakes mixed up. Then again, it WAS a Horcrux, sooo.. who knows?
Charmy: I don't know. A King Cobra can grow 18 feet in length. That's pretty big. I can picture the middle being thick as a man's neck, though she'd be too big and heavy to carry about draped on shoulders. I guess we'll have to wait until the encyclodpedia comes out to get the truth of it. More than likely she is some fictional species of snake or magical.

I can't stop laughing, cuz now I know why his eyes were always twinkling when he looked at Harry :)))) no, just kidding :) I love how Rowling managed to talk in HP about every problem our society has nowadays... I'll now return and finish with the reading... I'm not a fan of vampire-Snape fics, but I'll make an exception and read this one, cuz I know you'll make it good :)
Well now! I didn't see that coming, lol! Vampire Harry- this should be good. I expect he'll recover his senses once he has his first meal in him, much like Severus did.....and he too can be made mortal again once the Mother is destroyed. lol. This chapter had several funny pieces, like the "boy who turned" and the idea to use Hermione as a "cow". It's a great idea but it just sounds funny to think of Hermione feeding this lot. Another funny thing should be Snape trying to cope locked up with the golden trio in their full capacity. Yes, he needs Hermione's help, but putting up with Harry and Ron? If they annoy him to much I wonder if they'll really need their healing properties.
You keep surprising me! It's great- Severus, Harry and Ron a vampire family, lol! It'll be hard to keep Ron off Hermione when he comes to. I'm also wondering if Lilutu used Severus and a stud-mare....LK
wow. i was totally on the edge while reading ch4. thats soo cool and freaky. but now... how's hermione going to manage in a housefull of vampires... esp ron is going to get the thirst and snape has to be careful or he might jump on hermione. lol. damn it! cant wait for the next chapter.
didn't have time to review when I read the last chapter, cuz I had a biology class... so, I hate stories about Snape being a vampire, but I love it that in this one he's not the only one :) Ron and Harry vampires? and Severus being so much stonger than them? hHAhHAHhA that's tooo good :) can't wait for the next chapter

Harry, Harry, Harry, killing your best friend is not going to help your cause. Thankfully Snape was there to change him so he didn't die (sort of. I wonder what Hermione is going to think when she realizes what has happened.

Woo, Ronnykins is a vampire too. Hermione as a 'Blood cow'. I can imagine Snape saying that, but I hope Hermione doesn't get wind of the expression. So do all vampires have black eyes, was the dormant parasite the reason Snape already had black eyes, or did he have them anyway? That was a lovely long chapter, greedy me wants more like that. Great story, keep writing. ccino
