you continue shocking me :) I checked a couple of hours ago if there's a new chapter and now, all of a sudden 'COMPLETED' :)))) I really loved this story, cuz it was sooo different from everything you've ever written... and the ending was just... amazing! I don't know about Eileen though... my fav. story of yours is 'becoming familiar with a man of misery' and I'm kinda used to the thought that Sev's mom is called Isadora :)))) 10x, Ruth, for another perfect story!

That was so so so so SWEET! lol about the 'Old Man'. I love happy endings, *smile*. I knew that rose was going to be important! It was really nice how their love changed the world. Or at least the worlds perception of what a rose that represented love was.
Loved the ending and how you tied up all the ends. The rose was a beautiful touch. Thank you.

hmm...i really do like the story, and i like the part about the rose, but for some reason i feel like it comercializes their relationship since he allowed neville to breed it. idk... even if hermione got the first one, it still almost seems cheapened, in a way. just my 2 cents. anywho, wonderful over all, but i think i still like the older severus and younger hermione with the canon personalities and such. :)
Kath: I kind of like the idea of their "true love" becoming the standard, represented by the rose. But people do see things differently. I like the more canon pairing, but this appealed to the dirty old lady in me. Why should Sev have ALL the fun? lol.
Lol, we're all dirty old women imagining we're in Hermoine's shoes, I bet! Great ending, kinda wished you'd dragged it out a bit more though. It's hard to see another excellent tale come to an end. LK
well... I'm a dirty young woman and I'm still totally obsessed with Snape (and Rickman btw, although he can be my grandfather...lol :D :P)... I think smth's wrong with me, cuz I haven't dated a man with a small nose in 2 years :))))
Excellent ending, I love it, but I was hoping a "fight" between Vargas and Snape when Severus become a Master... but he protected his bussines pretty well

Hi Ms_Figg. This is the first "sweet" story that I've read from you, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy all of your stories. This one was so unusual, though, with it's twists and Alternate Universe personalities. Right now, I'm in a warm, happy glow. I think that's all the reading I'll do today :)
