Synopsis: Severus Snape has killed Albus Dumbledore following the Headmaster's directives, unaware that Albus had another aspect to his plan in which the Potions Master plays a very big part.  Now Voldemort's "most favored servant" he has been given two very special assignments, either one of which can bring death or capture.  Hermione Granger has been given a gift from Albus without her knowledge as well.  Now she feels something is very wrong concerning the old wizard's death and possibly Snape's involvement. She is doing her own investigation of the facts, seeking answers.  Her answers may very well lie with a hunted murderer who has the potential to become something more, much more.
