As soon as I saw this wasn't SS/HG I was thinking "I won't like it..." but, of course, you've managed to suck me in already. :) Good start and I want to read more! LK
Laura: lol. Well originally I was going to just put Severus and Hermione in here, but then I said no, better original characters. There will be some similarities I think, but marked differences as well. I can't help but wonder what it would be like for a child to suddenly find herself a wife to a much older man. We frown on this now, but once it was quite common in this country. I can give away a little plot of this story. Thomas is not going to be turned on by Melissa at all sexually. She's just not mature or developed enough to excite him that way. He sees her as a child. Someone who can still work but not as a potential sex partner. Not yet anyway. He's going to use another outlet...but there are going to be some problems with Melissa when she meets other girls close to her age who are either visibly pregnant or have one or more babies, whose husbands' "get on them." Because Thomas doesn't, Melissa's going to be a bit of an outcast and this is going to cause some friction between them when she confronts him. Of course, there's going to be a bad guy in this as well. lol. But that's way down the road. I think it will be fun to write though.

Yet another literary triumph! I love this type of setting. It reminds me those TV shows like "Dr Quinn Medicine Woman". You make you're characters so real! You just want 2 go along on their journey with them! Ever think of getting published? Hope the housemoving is back on track! I look forward 2 reading the next chapter of secret when u get it done! This is not so unusual. Edgar Allen Poe married his cousin when she was 13 years old. She died soon after of "consumption". He really loved her. Some of his poetry was influenced by her. I think "Annabell Lee, Ulalume and Elanora". It is the beginning of a story with the potenmtial of becoming a great love story and will have a distinct flavor of lemon and lime.
I like this story and I can see where Thomas would want to wait for her to get older for sex. But when you say other outlets do you mena whores or other women? Somehow that doesn't seem fair either since they are married. Or do you mean other outlets-like doing it himself? LOL
